We’re proud to share one of our event and tradeshow interactive applications won a Bronze Award for “Interactive Self-Service” at the 2015 Digital Signage Expo (DSE). DSE is the world’s largest international tradeshow and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, and their annual DSE Apex Installation Awards honor innovative and compelling content created for digital signage and digital out-of-home networks.
At the special awards breakfast on Thursday, March 12th at the Las Vegas convention center, the awards were presented for each category. This year’s Apex Installation Awards were chosen by an independent panel of nine industry professionals and named from a field of nearly 80 entrants from 13 countries vying in 11 major digital signage categories.
This event application has been created in close collaboration with the EMC Experiential Marketing team and has been evolving over the past year with additional functionality. The applications core feature set is to house and show multiple categories of videos, Powerpoints and PDF files which booth reps can walk visitors through select topics or solutions that they are interested in. Additional feature sets allow for users to engage in a digital whiteboard and diagramming session, browse designated webpages, and email out packages of select documents to booth visitors. The application is built in a responsive manner allowing it to be deployed on mobile tablets for reps to move around freely or on large touch-enabled displays that are integrated into the booth system.
Earlier this year, this application was also named a finalist in the EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Portable/Modular Awards under “Technology”. We’re very honored for this application to be honored at these industry events among such top-tier solution providers and industry trend setters.
